Tzatziki Sauce
4 servings
In a strainer
- 1/2 large english cucumber, deseeded and medium diced (about 1 cup)
- 5 ml kosher salt
In a small bowl
- 1 large garlic clove, grated
- 250 ml greek yogurt (I used pressed yogurt, and it was fantastic)
- 15 ml chopped fresh dill
- Mix the cucumber and salt in a strainer. Let sit for 30 minutes, for the salt to pull the water out of the cucumber. Pat cucumber dry on paper towel
- In a small bowl, mix together all of the ingredients. Season to taste with salt.
